FAVOURITE ANIMATED DISNEY/PIXAR CHARACTER
It's hard for me to decide on a special character, since I love Disney and Pixar movies. But there is a movie that I like a little more than the others and that is Pocahontas.
Pocahontas, the daughter of Chief Powhatan, watches over the arrival of a large group of English settlers, guided by the ambitious governor Radcliff and the brave captain John Smith. With his playful companion Meeko, a naughty raccoon, and with Flit, a cheerful bird, Pocahontas makes a strong friendship with Captain Smith. But when tensions begin to emerge between the two cultures, Pocahontas resorts to the wisdom of Grandmother Willow to find a way to achieve peace between her people and the conquerors.
I really like the essence of this character, although the film is based on one of the bloodiest colonizations throughout history, Pocahontas teaches Smith how simple, how important nature and each being that exists, that regardless of the size it has plays a fundamental role in the endless cycle of life, that not everything is gold, fame and recognition, but the real gift is to be alive and enjoy what surrounds us, without destroying With everything in our path.
One of the scenes that I like the most and has remained in my memory since I saw this movie, is when Smith tells Pocahontas that they (the settlers) come to civilize them and give them a better life, that's when Pocahontas differs with him and ask who the wild really is. In this part of the film is when Pochontas sang one of the songs I like most of Disney "Colors of the Wind", which won an Oscar as best original song.
